Privacy policy
Hipemeco is a mental-coaching app. Your coach's team uses what you write here to coach you. This page says what we keep, who sees it and how to have it deleted.
Last updated 1 November 2026.
What we collect
- Your email address and name, to sign you in.
- What you write and record: reflections, wins and challenges, assessment answers, messages with your coach, homework and routine entries, goals and daily check-ins.
- Names and email addresses of supporters you invite to give 360 feedback, and the feedback they write.
- Basic technical data needed to run the service, such as sign-in sessions and error logs.
No advertising, no tracking across apps, and we never sell your data.
Who processes it
Your coach and their team see your entries so they can coach you. Some entries are analysed automatically by an AI provider acting as our processor under a data-processing agreement. The provider does not use your data to train its models. You can turn off sharing of new reflections with your coach in the app.
Where it is stored
In the EU: the database runs on Supabase in Stockholm, Sweden (AWS eu-north-1) and the app servers on Fly.io in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Data sent for AI analysis is processed by our AI provider under standard contractual clauses.
Why we may process it
To provide the coaching you or your organisation signed up for (contract). Because your entries can touch on your wellbeing, we process them on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give by choosing to write them for your coach. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. You can export everything from the app and delete your account at any time; deletion is immediate and permanent. See how to delete your account.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
